About Salisbury
Salisbury, North Carolina, founded in 1753, started as a key trading post along the Great Wagon Road. Over time, it became a commercial and cultural hub in the Piedmont region. Known for its historic downtown and as the birthplace of Cheerwine, Salisbury played a significant role in North Carolina’s history, including during the Civil War and Reconstruction.
My Mission
My dad and I spent countless hours restoring historic buildings like the 115, 109, and 123 in down town Salisbury, which had fallen into disrepair. From repairing cracked walls to replacing moldy floor joists, we took on the challenge to preserve their legacy. Our work ensured these buildings could stand as lasting symbols of Salisbury’s rich history.
